BUFFALO (WKBW) There are new developments concerning the future ownership of the Buffalo Bills. On Thursday, the Associated Press reported that the Toronto-based ownership group that included Bon Jovi had a feasability study conducted to look into the possibility of building a stadium in Toronto.
The Bills current lease contains a clause that prohibits the sale of the franchise to anyone with the intention to move the team.
Last week, it was reported that Bon Jovi was still interested in the team, with the intent to keep the Bills in Buffalo.
Bidders have until the end of July to file paperwork with the bank that is overseeing the sale process.
