Pendrith Captures Porter Cup

LEWISTION, NY (WKBW) - After shooting a seven-under 63 on Friday to take the lead at the 55th Porter Cup at Niagara Falls Country Club, 22-year-old Taylor Pendrith followed up with a rain soaked 67 to capture his first Porter Cup by 5 strokes.

The Richmond Hill, Ontario native shot a 68, 66, 63, 67 for 264 (-16) for the tournament.

His Canadian national teammate Justin Shin, who led after the first round, finished the tournament in 3rd at -10 after shooting a two-over 72 on Saturday.

20-year-old Tyler Dunlap from Trophy Club, Texas finished second at -11.

18-year-old Pittsford, NY native Gavin Hall finished tied for 8th, finishing his second Porter Cup with a four-round score of -6.
