Buffalo (WKBW) It wasn't easy. It wasn't pretty. It didn't matter. Ryan Miller made 43 saves to help the Buffalo Sabres to a 3-2 shootout win over the L.A. Kings on Tuesday. It was the Sabres first home victory of the season.

Miller stole the show for the now 4-15-1 Sabres, but Cody Hodgson helped the cause with a pair of goals in the victory. Matt Moulson and Tyler Ennis both scored in the shootout to give the Sabres the win.

Buffalo next hosts the Toronto Maple Leafs on Friday night.
