Buffalo (WKBW.com) Buffalo Bills defensive coordinator Mike Pettine met with Cleveland Browns officials for a second time on Tuesday night about the teams head coaching vacancy. The two sides met in Mobile, Alabama the site of this weekends "Senior Bowl".
Cleveland.com reported on Tuesday night that the meeting ended without a deal in place. The report also said that Browns officials left Alabama on Tuesday night and were scheduled to interview another candidate on Wednesday.
Still Pettine has emerged as one of the top candidates for the position. Adam Gase, the offensive coordinator for the Denver Broncos, was considered the favorite but pulled his name out of the running on Tuesday.
The Browns have also reportedly scheduled an interview with Atlanta Falcons offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter.
