BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - The Buffalo Sabres placed forward Cody McCormick on waivers Wednesday.
The veteran was in the middle of practicing with the team when he was pulled from the ice and notified of the transaction.
As McCormick was leaving the First Niagara Center he talked exclusively with Eyewitness Sports Anchor Shawn Stepner about being waived.
