BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) Bills Hall of Fame quarterback Jim Kelly is back in Western New York, and plans to continue his cancer treatments here.
Kelly's brother, Dan Kelly, tells Eyewitness News that the former quarterback will no longer receive chemotherapy and radiation at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. Instead, the family is back in Western New York to undergo further treatment.
A crowd of Bills fans gathered at Prior Aviation at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport to greet Jim Kelly, reminiscent to Kelly's first arrival in Western New York when he was signed by the Bills in 1986.
Kelly and his wife, Jill Kelly, arrived on a private plane Saturday afternoon.
