ORCHARD PARK, NY (WKBW) - Buffalo Bills running back Fred Jackson has passed his final NFL mandated concussion tests, and has been cleared to practice and play this weekend against the Indianapolis Colts.
Fred Jackson has been sidelined the last two weeks, since suffering a concussion late in the game against the New England Patriots.
But according to Bills Head Coach Chan Gailey, C.J. Spiller will start against the Colts and will get a majority of the carries in the game.
Spiller is leading the league in yards per rush attempt with 6.6 yards, and is leading the team with 723 yards rushing and four touchdowns. He also has 31 receptions for 336 yards, averaging 10.8 yards per catch, with one touchdown.
Spiller had 22 carries for 91 yards last week against the Miami Dolphins.
