BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - Former Canisius great Brian Dux was inducted in to the Canisius College Athletics Hall of Fame Sunday during a half-time ceremony at the Koessler Center.

Dux graduated in 2003, and is one of just two players in school history to score more than 1,000 career points and have more than 500 career assists.

Earning All-MAAC honors in two seasons, Dux ranks 16th all-time in school history with 1,239 points.

After graduation, Dux traveled overseas where he played professionally for four seasons. His career was cut short after a serious car accident in England in 2007.

Dux earned his masters degree last year, and spoke with Eyewitness News after the ceremony about his recovery.
