Buffalo, NY (WKBW.com) The Greater Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame announced it's class of 2012 on Wednesday. Among the 14 new members headed to the GBSHOF is Sabres play-by-play announcer Rick Jeanneret. Jeanneret is the longest tenured announcer in the NHL.
The Greater Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame honors those who have enhanced our lives with their performances and commitment to Western New York sports, an effort surpassed only by the positive impressions they have left on our athletes for tomorrow.
Below is the full class of 2012, which will be the 22nd class inducted into the Greater Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame since its inception in 1991. Total membership is now at 254.
