C.J. Spiller, Leodis McKelvin active, Byrd Out against Browns

Cleveland (WKBW) There were questions throughout the week but both RB C.J. Spiller and CB Leodis McKelvin will play tonight for the Buffalo Bills against the Cleveland Browns. Both are on the active roster for the Bills primetime affair. Spiller was listed as questionable throughout the week with an ankle injury. McKelvin has been battling a hamstring.

Bills Safety Jairus Byrd will not play against the Browns. Byrd tested out his foot condition on the field at FirstEnergy Field at around 4:15 on Thursday. He met with trainers, GM Doug Whaley, Head Coach Doug Marrone and DC Mike Pettine immediately afterwards. It was announced at 7:00 that Byrd. The safety had participated in full practice for the first time this week. He's now missed the first five games with plantar fasciitis.

Kicker Dustin Hopkins, CB Stephon Gilmore, CB Ron Brooks, G Sam Young, WR Marquise Goodwin and TE Chris Gragg are also inactive for the Bills
