Buffalo (WKBW) Jairus Byrd has played his last game with the Buffalo Bills. The three-time Pro Bowler agreed to a six-year deal with the New Orleans Saints on Tuesday night, the first night of the NFL's free agency period.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the six year deal has a max value of $54 million dollars and includes $27 million guaranteed.
"I first want to thank the Buffalo Bills organization and the great fans of Buffalo for their support during my time there", Byrd told the Saints website. "This is a great opportunity to join a championship organization", Byrd continued.
Byrd was a second round pick of the Bills in 2009. He played in 73 games for Buffalo and finished with 22 interceptions.
