Bulls women win, Men lose in season opener

BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - The Bobby Hurley era began Friday night for the University at Buffalo Men's Basketball team.

The Bulls opened their regular season on the road with a loss at Texas A&M, 82-58.

Javon McCrea led the bulls with 14 points and 5 rebounds. They take on the Purple Eagles at Niagara University next Wednesday.

For the women, it was a different story, earning a 65-47 win over Binghamton on the road.

Mackenzie Loesing led all scorers with 16 points.

They will play at Youngstown State next Wednesday.
