Buffalo (WKBW) The Buffalo Bills have a new coaching staff, new schemes and a new plan. A plan that no longer includes defensive end Mark Anderson.
The Bills cut ties with Anderson on Tuesday, releasing the defensive end just days before the start of training camp in Pittsford.
Anderson signed a 4-year contract worth roughly $20 million in March of 2012 but made limited impact last season. He played in only 5 games after suffering a knee injury against San Francisco on October 7th. Anderson finished with one sack and 12 total tackles.
The Bills also announced on Tuesday that Offensive Tackle Chris Hairston will start training camp on the Physically Unable to Perform list. Hairston started 8 game for the Bills in 2012, including five at right tackle where he's expected to compete for the starting role in 2013.
