BUFFALO, NY (WKBW.com) - The Buffalo Bills cut 21 players on Friday, but the bigger story may be who they kept. The team decided to keep four quarterbacks on the 53 man roster.Tyler Thigpen made the cut, as did recently acquired signal caller Tarvaris Jackson. Thigpen and Jackson join starter Ryan Fitzpatrick and third quarterback Brad Smith.
5 wide receivers were among the 21 players cut by the Bills on Friday.
Marcus Easley, Kamar Aiken, Ruvell Martin and Derek Hagan were released. Buffalo native, and UB product Naaman Roosevelt was also cut by the team.
The Bills also announced that OT Zebrie Sanders was placed on IR.
