Orchard Park (WKBW) The Buffalo Bills added some depth at defensive back on Saturday selecting cornerback Ross Cockrell out of Duke in the 4th round (109)

Cockrell was a four-year starter at Duke and played in 49 games for the Blue Devils. Cockrell stands at 6-foot, 190 pounds and left the program as the Duke's all-time leader in defended passes.

From Ourlads Scouting Services: "A feisty and aggressive corner with a competitive spirit. Good ball skills and foot quickness. .very instinctive and excels in man-to-man coverage"

Bills Director of Pro Personnel Jim Monos says the team loves Cockrell's size, length and speed. Cockrell was a two-year captain at Duke and graduated with a political science degree in only 3 1/2 years.

Cockrell is the fourth straight pick for the Bills who was a pre-draft visitor.
