Bills Sign FB Rodriguez to 53-Man Roster, Release QB Matt Flynn

ORCHARD PARK, NY (WKBW/Bills Release) – The Buffalo Bills today announced that the team has signed FB Evan Rodriguez to the 53-man roster. In accordance with team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Rodriguez entered the NFL as a fourth-round (111th overall) draft choice of the Chicago Bears in 2012. He made four catches for 21 yards in 12 games (five starts) in his rookie season with Chicago. The 6-2, 239-pound Temple product spent the 2013 training camp with the Miami Dolphins before being released prior to the regular season. Rodriguez started 28-of-37 games at Temple (2009-11) and finished his collegiate career with 69 catches for 871 yards and seven touchdowns. He will wear No. 48.

Buffalo also announced that the team has released QB Matt Flynn.
