October 10, 2013 Updated Oct 10, 2013 at 1:16 PM EDT

ORCHARD PARK (WKBW release) -- The NFL has granted the Buffalo Bills a 24-hour extension, which will give the team an opportunity to sell the remaining ticket inventory to lift the local television blackout of the Sunday, October 13 game against the Cincinnati Bengals at Ralph Wilson Stadium.

According to a news release issued Thursday, the team has until Friday at 1 p.m. to sell approximately 5,300 general tickets.

The Bills encourage fans interested in attending Sunday’s game to purchase tickets by Friday at 1 p.m. at buffalobills.com, ticketmaster.com or by calling 1-877-BB-TICKS (1-877-4257).
