Bills Fall to Colts

INDIANAPOLIS (WKBW) The Bills once again found a way to keep a game close, even within striking distance of a win, but still came out on the losing end Sunday afternoon in Indianapolis.

The first scoring of the day came on special teams, when the Colts T.Y. Hilton returned a Bills punt 75 yards to the endzone to put the Colts up 7-0. After trading field goals, the Bills had their chances offensively, including a 63 yard hookup between Ryan Fitzpatrick and Steve Johnson, but could not score a touchdown. The game would go to the half on a last second Colts field goal making the score 13-6.

In the second half, the Bills defense did what many fans had been waiting for; they put pressure on the quarterback. Mario Williams and Marcell Dareus made life difficult for Andrew Luck, and set up the Bills to win the game.

Despite the defense's efforts, Luck would find T.Y. Hilton for a third quarter touchdown, making it a 20-6 game. In the fourth, Ryan Fitzpatrick would answer with a touchtown toss to Lee Smith, and the game was 20-13.

The offense could not execute a game-tying drive, having to punt the ball away late in the fourth quarter, and they would never get it back. The Colts would finish things out with a 20-13 victory, dropping the Bills to 4-7 on the season.
