Bills Blog - Camp Practice #1

PITTSFORD, NY (WKBW) - Buffalo Bills Training camp is off and running, folks.

All eyes were on EJ Manuel during the first night of training camp. Like any opening practice, he had his good moments and his bad moments. As far as his chemistry with rookie receiver Sammy Watkins, things looked pretty good. He hit the fourth overall selection for a handful of throws. The prettiest hook-up between the two talents was a deep sideline completion during 7-on-7 work.

Other notes:

-Nigel Bradham replaced Kiko Alonso at starting weak-side linebacker. Alonso is out for the season with a torn ACL.

-Rookie Seantrel Henderson ran at first team at left tackle in place of Cordy Glenn. However, Henderson left practice with trainers within the first hour with what looked to be a hip injury.

-Receiver Marquise Goodwin also left practice early but he tweeted later that he was okay.

-Defensive Tackle Marcell Dareus did not take part in practice. He was placed on the active/non-football injury list over the weekend. Head Coach Doug Marrone said Dareus did not pass his conditioning tests.
