ORCHARD PARK, NY - (WKBW) The Buffalo Bills defeated the Minnesota Vikings on Friday night 20-16, improving to 2-0 in the preseason.

Veteran quarterback Kevin Kolb got the start for Buffalo. He played the first half. Kolb started slow and finished his night 13-21 passing for 111 yards, tossing one interception.

Rookie EJ Manuel played three possessions in the third quarter. He drove the Bills 80-yards on the opening drive of the second half, going 6-for-6 passing for 44 yards. He finished his first drive with a four-yard touchdown pass to Brad Smith. Manuel finished his second preseason game 10-for-12 passing for 92 yards and the touchdown.

The Buffalo defense finished with four sacks. Jerry Hughes picked up a pair.

The Bills next visit the Washington Redskins on Saturday 8/24.
