Orchard Park (WKBW) The wheeling and dealing for the Buffalo Bills continued on day three of the draft. The Bills announced Saturday afternoon that the team has acquired running back Bryce Brown from the Philadelphia Eagles for a future undisclosed draft choice. The Bills and Eagles also swapped 7th round picks this year.
Multiple reports say the other pick was a conditional fourth round pick in 2015.
"I was excited, but I think it's a great opportunity for me. I'm excited about the journey", said Brown. "I run hard and with a lot of effort. I am very confident in my speed".
Brown, a former 7th round pick of the Eagles in 2012, recorded 878 rushing yards on 190 carries in 32 games with the Eagles. The 6-0, 220 pound Kansas State set the Eagles rookie single game rushing mark when he put up 178 yards rushing and two touchdowns in his first start against Carolina in 2012.
