This week's countdown begins with Justin Volk of Canisius. Justin ran for 138 yards, scored 3 touchdowns, and made ten tackles on defense in the Crusaders double-overtime win over Victor.

#6 Scott Zymowski / North Collins Soccer
We hit the pitch for number six and Scott Zymowski of North Collins. He made nine saves in Monday's win over Cattaraugus/Little Valley to record his sixth shutout of the season as the Eagles improve to 8-0.

#5 Jeff Zellner / North Tonawanda Football
North Tonawanda's Jeff Zellner checks in at number five. He carried the ball 18 times for 234 yards and three touchdowns in the Lumberjacks win over Niagara Wheatfield.

#4 Angelo Gordon / Bennett Football
We stay on the gridiron for number four and Bennett's Angelo Gordon. He ran for 121 yards and 3 touchdowns on offense and added a fumble recovery and an interception in the Tigers win over East.

#3 Kelsay Vilanti / Hamburg Field Hockey
Hamburg's Kelsay Vilanti comes in at number three. She registered the hat trick with three goals in Hamburg's overtime win over Williamsville South.

#2 Arvin Bell / McKinley Football
We ring the bell for number two and McKinley's Arvin Bell. He worked his way to four touchdowns as he rumbled for a total of 220 yards on just 12 carries as the Macks improved to 3-0 on the season.

#1 Mike Bartoszek / JFK Football
And this week's top spot goes to Mike Bartoszek of JFK. He racked up 157 yards rushing on 25 carries and found the endzone five times in the Bears win over Silver Creek as JFK enters week four undefeated.
