The Buffalo Sabres beat the Florida Panthers on Saturday 3-1. Jochen Hecht, Patrick Kaleta, and Mike Grier all scored for Buffalo.

Byron Bitz tallied the lone goal for Florida.

Ryan Miller made 31 saves for the Sabres.

Buffalo plays in Carolina on Sunday at 5:00pm.
