The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette is reporting that Doug Whaley has accepted a job as the assistant general manager of the Buffalo Bills.
Whaley just finished his 10th season as the Pittsburgh Steelers pro scouting coordinator. He spent three seasons in charge of scouting college players for the Seattle Seahawks prior to joining the Steelers.
Whaley is a native of Upper St. Clair, Pennsylvania. He played his college football at Pitt as a safety and linebacker.
