Orchard Park, NY (WKBW) -- The injury plagued Bills made a move today to help sure-up their offensive line.

On Tuesday the Bills signed OL Kendall Simmons who was released by the New England Patriots earlier this month.

Simmons started each of his 80 games played with the Pittsburgh Steelers from 2002-2008, and saw action in one game this year with the Patriots.

The 6'3", 315 pound Auburn product entered the NFL as a first round pick by the Steelers in 2002.

The Bills also placed OL Eric Wood on IR after suffering a broken leg in Sunday's loss to the Jaguars.
