Buffalo - After being shutout 5-0 by the New York Islanders on Saturday night, the Sabres returned the favor on Wednesday.
Derek Roy, Thomas Vanek and Paul Gaustad all scored goals as the Sabres beat the Islanders 3-0 at the HSBC Arena. Ryan Miller had 24 saves to pick up his second shutout of the season. The Sabres improve to 9-2-1 on the season, and will host Philadelphia on Friday.
