Vick signs with Philadelphia Eagles

By WKBW Sports

Michael Vick has a new home.

ESPN is reporting that the Philadelphia Eagles have signed the former Atlanta Falcons Pro Bowl quarterback to a two-year deal.

Vick's agent, Joel Segal, confirmed the signing to ESPN.

Fox is reporting that the first year of the deal is worth $1.6 million. The Eagles have a team option for a second year at $5.2 million.

The former No. 1 pick in 2001, hasn't played since 2006. Vick served 23 months in federal prison for his role in a dog fighting ring. As it stands he will be able to practice and play in the final two preseason games for the Eagles. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has said he'll rule on full reinstatement before week 6.
