Bulls Survive at Canisius

BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) - John Boyers tie-breaking 3-pointer with
32.3 seconds left gave Buffalo a 69-64 win over Canisius Tuesday.
Boyers 3-pointer broke a 64-64 tie following a furious
second-half rally by Canisius.
Buffalo (2-0) led by 19 points with 10:34 left in the second
half.
Canisius (0-2) rallied behind a 17-0 run and later took their
first lead on a pair of free throws by Greg Logins with 2:29 to
play, making the score 64-63.
Pierce led Buffalo with a career-high 26 points. Calvin Betts
and Greg Gamble each added 10.
Chris Gadley posted a career-high 20 points for Canisius. Frank
Turner added 16.
Buffalo has won back-to-back road games for the first time since
2005.
