The Rochester Red Wings topped the Buffalo Bisons on Independece Eve, 7-6 in 13 innings. Matt Marci snapped a 2-2 tie with a three-run HR in the top of the 8th, but the Herd bounced back with four runs in the bottom of the ninth to tie it. Trevor Plouffe finally got the BPO fireworks show started with a game-winning home run in the top of the 13th. It was the largest crowd of the season, with almost 18,000 fans in attendence.

The series now shifts to Frontier Field in Rochester for two games, the first coming July 4th. That contest can be seen live on Time Warner Cable Sportsnet at 7pm
