DirectionsIn a hot saucepan with a little oil, saute' the ground beef and vegetables until the beef turns brown. Strain off liquid from the ground beef and add the beef gravy. Simmer for 20 minutes. Peel the potatoes and boil until soft. Place the boiled potatoes seasoning into a mixing bowl with the butter and milk and mash until soft and fluffy. Place the beef sauce into a baking dish with a depth of 2 inches. Spoon the mashed potatoes over the meat being sure to cover completely with potatoes. Sprinkle the grated cheese over the top of the potatoes. Place your Shepherd's Pie into a pre-heated oven at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Makes 6 to 8 servings. |
