Williams, Elsie Irene (nee Lancaster) 92, passed peacefully on in Clearwater, Florida. Born March 31, 1917, in Harrogate, Yorkshire, England, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Mary Lancaster.
Predeceased by her beloved husband, Jon A. Williams in 1980, Elsie was proud to be war bride in 1947 and a resident of Buffalo for over thirty years. She spent her remaining years in Clearwater, Florida and enjoyed travel to England and in the US to visit family and friends. Mrs. Williams is survived by her children, Linda Mary Williams, son-in-law, Paul Litwak, Joan Burlingham and husband, Michael, Eric Williams and wife, Donna; grandchildren, Kasia Marie Litwak, Michael Jon Litwak, Michael Oxendine, Jon Michael Williams and Rebecca Burlingham. She is also survived by family members and friends in England and the US who will cherish her memory. Services will be private.
