The Buffalo Zoo is teaming up with Women & Children's Hospital to help bring joy to its young patients.
Starting Saturday, March 19th, zoo visitors can buy special stuffed animals from the Zootique at a discounted rate. Those toys will then be donated to WCHOB.
The "animal ambassadors" will be delivered to the hospital all year long.
Anyone who participates will be be invited to draw a picture for the Oishei Children’s Hospital Community Art Mosaic. The finished mosaic will appear in the lobby area of the new John R. Oishei Children's Hospital, expected to open in the fall of 2017.
