On Saturday morning Buffalo's Downtown Central Library welcomed a new exhibit. "Buffalo Never Fails: The Queen City and World War I" opened up with a ceremony at 1 Lafayette Sq.

Many were on hand for the ribbon cutting which included a rifle salute and color guard ceremony.

The exhibit features a collection of local, national and international posters produced during World War I that were collected and gifted to the library after the war.

It also includes photographs, letters, film footage and artifacts from several local veteran's organizations.

This exhibit will be open for a two-year run at the library. Guided tours will be given weekly on Saturdays at 2 p.m.
