At least one local artist has a slightly different plan for the World's Largest Disco on Saturday.
"We're going to give people the worlds, no the universe's largest disco experience in the World's Smallest Disco." Said Ron Ehmke, one of the hosts.
Ehmke plans on parking his 2016 Chrysler Town and Country van on the streets outside of the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center and inviting everyone past the velvet ropes and into a very exclusive party.
"Picture an exclusive club, with a line down the block with a bouncer... checking your name on the list, but really, anyone can get in."
The micro version of the disco is meant to be an immersive art experience and the exact location will be announced on the World's Smallest Disco Facebook page on the day of the event.
Ehmke says come Saturday, the van will look and feel like a fully functioning club, but realizes, it might be tough to dance in the back of a mini van.
"It's about capturing the thrill of just feeling like you have to stand up, get on your feet and boogie.... and then not be able to."
