A woman was arrested after trying to bring cocaine, heroin and a hypodermic needle into the Allegany County Jail while being booked for a separate arrest.
The Allegany County Sheriff's Office says officers found the needle, two grams of cocaine and ten bags of heroin concealed within a body cavity during a routine search.
According to deputies, Sara Ward, 40, was charged with promoting prison contraband, criminal possession of a controlled substance, and possession of a hypodermic instrument.
The Sheriff's Office says Ward was processed by investigators and transported by deputies to the Town of Amity Court where she appeared in front of a judge.
Ward was taken back to the Allegany County Jail on $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 property bond, according to officials.
Deputies say Ward will be back in court on November 30.
