A woman in a wheelchair is safe after she was rescued by Genesee County deputies when her house caught fire.
Firefighters were called to the home on Dodgeson Road, just after midnight Monday.
Before firefighters got there, deputies had the woman on the porch in a safe area.
It's unclear who the deputies are.
Firefighters say flames were in the back of the house. They're not sure how the fire started.
The woman is now being helped by the Red Cross.
