When the Buffalo Bills face off against Colin Kaepernick and the 49ers Sunday, fans won't just be critical of how the Bills are working to maintain their winning streak.

Colin Kaepernick, best known this season for his protests during the playing of the national anthem, will be the starting quarterback against the Bills at New Era Field this Sunday.

When Bills head coach Rex Ryan was asked how he thought local fans would react to Kaepernick, he said he thinks Bills fans will treat him (Kaepernick) and every 49er the same way.

But since Kaepernick made the decision to address America’s treatment of people of color by protesting, football fans were seen burning jerseys, some even boycotting NFL games entirely. So when the 49ers arrive at New Era Field, Western New Yorkers are mixed on how fans may react.
