A West Seneca man is under arrest, accused of having sex with an underage girl.
31-year-old David A. Moretto is facing several charges, including rape and child endangerment. He's currently being held at the Erie County Holding on $20,000 bail.
West Seneca residents reached out to us online and told us he was a postal worker in their area. 7 Eyewitness News looked into this and found Moretto does work for the United States Postal Service, but without any contact with customers, according to Karen Mazurkewitz with USPS.
Mazurkewitz says Moretto is a mail handler at the Buffalo processing center - he does not deliver mail. He has been an employee there since 2013, according to Mazurkewitz.
"His employee status hinges on the outcome of the criminal case," she said.
Moretto is due back in West Seneca Justice Court on Tuesday at 7:00pm.
