James D. Robinson, 40, of Wellsville, was arrested on two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, two count of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance, and Resisting Arrest.
The charges stem from ongoing investigations into narcotics trafficking conducted by Wellsville Police Department, The Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force and the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team.
Robinson was arraigned in Wellsville Village Court and is being held in the Allegany County Jail In lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 property bond.
Robinson is due back in Wellsville Village Court in March.
