What a difference a year makes. Last year, areas in Hamburg and Eden were filled with destruction after seven feet of snow caused millions of dollars in damage.

Some of the hardest hit were Colley's Pools & Spas on Camp Road, Hamburg, and Amos Zittel & Sons Farm on Route 62, Eden - both still working to rebuild structures that were collapsed by the massive snow loads.

In a strange twist of weather-fate, Mother Nature is now helping the companies with recovery efforts as warm, dry December weather is allowing construction crews to continue outdoor projects that are normally unable to be completed during this time of year.

7 Eyewitness News reporter Ed Reilly visited both companies to see how things were progressing.
