NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. ( WKBW - release ) From the Friday walk, to appearances all weekend long accpepting the "Key To The City," dining at the famed Como Restaurant, and appearing at the Fashion Outlet Mall in the Falls...it is clear that Nik Wallenda is the talk of the town!

Assemblymember Gabryszak honored “King of the High Wire” Nik Wallenda for his successful walk across Niagara Falls with an official pen certificate copy of the bill that gave Wallenda permission to traverse the Niagara Gorge on high wire (A.8206A).

“I am honored to stand here today with Nik Wallenda and present him with this pen certificate as a thank you for the courage and determination he displayed during his walk across the Falls,” Assemblyman Gabryszak said. “The passage of the legislation was historic and so was his performance. It was truly a privilege to work with Nik and see him accomplish a lifelong dream.”

“How great for me to get this pen certificate from my friend Assemblymember Dennis Gabryszak after my historic walk,” Nik Wallenda said. “The walk would have not been possible without his support and friendship.”

“I want to congratulate him for a job well done,” Gabryszak added. “Nik is such a positive role model and is proof that anything can be accomplished if you set your mind to it and don’t give up. The name “Wallenda” will be remembered with Niagara Falls for many years to come.”
