If you have medicine you need to safely get rid of, the Village of LeRoy is holding a Drug Drop Off event Tuesday.
Drop off boxes will be located at the LeRoy Village Hall. They can be accessed during normal business hours. The boxes are available for medication, drugs and syringes.
Police say they're trying to make sure elderly residents are able to dispose of unwanted medicine, so officers are offering to pick up medications if needed. If you need more information, or you want a police officer to pick up medicine and dispose of it for you, you can call (585) 345-6350.
