While the Carnival Triumph will be out of operation for awhile, some travelers form the western New York area are working on different travel arrangements.

The western New York AAA is now working to book those travelers on different trips with different cruise line companies.

Brian Murray, the Director of Travel for the Western New York and Rochester divisions of AAA hasn't received any calls from customers cancelling their trips because of what happened on the Carnival Triumph.

According to Carnival's website the stranded passengers will receive refunds for the ill-fated cruise, also a free cruise, and $500 in compensation.

Murray says this incident is isolated and doesn't think it will deter future travelers.
