AMHERST, NY (WKBW) - Amherst Police are looking for a man who apparently exposed himself to a woman in the parking lot of a plaza last Sunday.

It happened at 4:15 p.m., according to a news release. The man, described as in his 30's with medium build and a mustache or goatee, pulled up behind a woman as she was parking, according to police.

He turned on blue flashing lights installed in the front of his car, similar to those used by volunteer firefighters, and instructed the woman to approach his car.

He then exposed his private parts to the victim, police said.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call the department's Special Victim's Unit at 716-689-1334.
