BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown unveiled a new crime fighting tool on Monday. It is a special unit dubbed the Strike Force.
The Strike Force will include 40 members of state, county and city police departments and will operate in high-crime areas, Brown said.
The Strike Force was formed in response to a number of violent incidents including the May 12 mass shooting at MLK Park where four people were injured and one person was killed.
