A cruise ship is headed back to port after suffering damage during a storm with hurricane-force winds on the Atlantic Oceam.

Over the weekend, the Royal Carribbean ship "Anthem of the Seas" encountered high winds and rough seas. Courtney Ann and her family from South Cheektowaga were on board the ship and sent 7 Eyewitness News pictures of the damage on board.

Her family was not injured, but she said, "My 5-year-old most likely will never step foot on a boat/ship again."

U.S. Senator Bill Nelson is calling for an investigation by the National Transportation Safety Board. Senator Nelson says four days before the ship sailed, the National Weather Service's Ocean Prediction Center issued an alert about the strong storm and issued a warning Saturday for possible hurricane-force winds in the area the ship was going to sail through.

The ship is heading back to New Jersey right now.
