BUFFALO, N.Y. ( WKBW ) They were once high school dropouts on the wrong path, but today they are graduates.
37 participants graduated from the Buffalo Urban League's "Youth Build Program."
The program is funded through the city, and helps dropouts obtain their G.E.D.
The Urban League also offers certificates in workplace readiness, and construction. The students say the program has changed their lives.
Cedric Johnson, a program graduate told Eyewitness News, "This has kept me out of a lot of trouble, and helped me keep other people out of a lot of trouble. By doing this, this could change our city."
The participants range in age from 18 - 24 and attended classes 5 days a week for the last 18 months.
