Fantastic Friends WNY is making it possible for kids who might otherwise have a tough time being in public during the busy holiday season, enjoy it.
The idea is to bring kids with special needs and disabilities together to celebrate each other, their uniqueness and good times with their families and the community.
On Saturday, an event was held at the Ellicott Square Building.
Over 50 kids with special needs had the time of their lives - painting, making new friends and enjoying Santa Claus - just in time for Christmas.
Special organizations like these are making a difference. One mom summed the day up like this, "they can just have fun and be who they are."
