A man and woman were arrested at a home in Dunkirk early Tuesday morning after officers reported finding a significant amount of cocaine in the residence.

A patrol officer first noticed the home at W. 4th Street around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday, when the officer saw Nicholas Bailey through a window. Bailey, age 25, was wanted on an outstanding felony warrant for criminal mischief. The address of the arrests is listed as his home.

The officer reported Bailey's presence to others, and a team surrounded the home. They knocked, and were able to see a woman later identified as Jenna Matney inside, but no one answered the door. Officers forced open a door and took Matney, age 35, into custody. Officers discovered Matney also had an outstanding warrant for violating probation and arrested her.

Following Matney's arrest, officers searched the residence and located Bailey. Officers also discovered large amounts of cocaine that had been packaged for sale on the street, a smaller amount of marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

Matney and Bailey are charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana. They will also face the charges from their outstanding warrants. At last check, they were being held without bail and waiting for arraignment.
