The holidays are right around the corner, and like every year, this season comes with its own batch of must-have toys coveted by children everywhere.

7 Eyewitness News checked in with the Toys R' Us on McKinley Parkway to see which toys are flying off the shelves -- or already gone.

Here's a list of their top five holiday best sellers.

Number 5: Ryder and the pups of "PAW Patrol" and the "Look Out Command Post"

PAW Patrol is a children's television show that follows the adventures of Ryder, a little boy, and his team of rescue pups known as the PAW Patrol. Each dog has a set of skills that match a profession -- like a firefighter or a police man. Each dog wears a backpack with tools that the dog will need to do his job.

These toys are popular with preschool-aged children.

Number 4: "PJ Masks" Action Figures

PJ Masks is a television show on Disney Junior. The show follows three normal seemingly normal 6-year-olds who activate special bracelets to become a gang of superheroes known as "The PJ Masks."

These toys are popular with preschool-aged children.

Number 3: "Speak Out Loud" Board Game

To play the "Speak Out Loud" board game, players use a plastic mouthpiece that prevents them from shutting their mouths. As a timer counts down the seconds, the players wearing the mouthpieces try and say phrases such as, "he's my stealthy pet ferret named Garret," while other players try to guess what they're saying.

This game is popular with older children.

Number 2: NES Classic Edition

The NES Classic Edition is the modern version of a classic Nintendo gaming console, but in a compact unit. The console comes pre-loaded with 30 popular Nintendo video games, like "Super Mario Brothers," "Donkey Kong," and "Pac-Man."

The NES Classic Edition is supposed to retail at $59.99, but due to its popularity, it is going for more than $200 on sites like Amazon.

Number 1: Hatchimals

"Hatchimals" are furry, robotic "animals" that come inside an egg. Kids have to help the Hatchimal hatch out of the egg by nurturing it. Each Hatchimal takes a different amount of time to hatch. When it's ready, the Hatchimal will peck its way out of its eggshell. Once hatched, kids can teach the Hatchimal how to walk, talk and dance. It will grow through three stages: baby, toddler and kid.

Hatchimals retail for $69.99, but they are sold out from the manufacturer, and buying one on eBay will cost you upwards of $150.
